The South African captain AB de Villiers played a brilliant inning of 109 in the third One Day international game against India at Centurion yesterday. He had made his way to the wicket in a very difficult situation as his team had lost 3 wickets at a score of just 28.
The ball was seaming a bit and the Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma was in the middle of a very good spell. It was important for the South African skipper to see off that spell of his somehow and he did exactly that. He got through that spell and started playing his shots after that.
